Great Company!
Had Chris pick a load of decommissioned servers, laptops, hard drives and other miscellaneous equipment the other day. Super friendly, super helpful and great to know it's all either getting refurbed and off to help charity or recycled with 0 to landfill. Great service overall!

Most Helpful
I delivered some heavy Cisco equipment to Godstone. Staff there were most helpful. Site a bit "in the sticks" but worth it knowing some money will go to charity. Staff helped unload my car, as I am "knocking on" a bit!

We had A LOT of items to recycle and while searching for somewhere that would take everything for a reasonable price I found this place. After reading about the way they do things and how all sale profits are donated to UK charity with FREE COLLECTION, we just couldn't say no. Easy Disposal
I dropped off my unwanted IT equipment with ease. The staff were friendly and helpful. This made disposal easy and also reassuring that the the equipment will get the best chance of being repurposed. Collected promptly without difficulty
I left the two boxes by the door at 8.00 AM, as there was no danger of rain that day, properly packed and labelled. They were collected within the given time frame, and, as I had left a "night work" note on the door, the collectors did not disturb me. Wholly satisfactory.

Excellent recycling
Found CPR on the internet because l did not want my old computers to go to landfill and was looking for a charitable solution and l have certainly found that with CPR. Stuart was very helpful in my quest to dispose responsibly of old equipment and luckily the van was in my area within a very short time (one day!) and the driver Chris was a brilliant person and he told me that CPR has raised a lot of money for charity, so it was a great experience all round.

Well-run service
CPR seems to be the only IT recycling company in London and Essex which actually collects old equipment for free. Every other company we contacted in the area turned out either to charge a hefty fee to do it quickly, or to postpone the (free) collection indefinitely. CPR contacted us within 2 weeks of us filling the online form and postponed the collection just once. The driver was very nice and had access to all the information we submitted. An honest, forthright and well-run service.

A well run service
It seems that this is the only IT recycling company in London and Essex which actually collects old equipment for free. What's not too like. Drove several pcs and various components to Godstone site. Items were listed in the office and were then unloaded by friendly and helpful staff. Took 10 minutes. Subsequently received email link to record of receipt and destruction certificate.

Very good service for recycling IT equipment and completely free! They are a charity who raise money for St Catherine's Hospice i believe. Their service was friendly and efficient. Outstanding Service
Our collection driver Chris was outstandingly courteous and helpful giving advice on recyclable items and detailed explanation of the many forms of recycling used, leading to very few materials sent to landfill. He did a great job of loading our roomful of equipment into what looked like a much smaller space in the lorry. The CPR team were also very efficient and helpful in arranging collections particularly in view of our large and unusual items. CPR Recycling
We contacted CPR Computer Recycling in Apr 2023 as we had a large amount of old computer equipment that we no longer required. It took very little time for CPR to review the list of items and arrange a suitable collection date and time. The driver arrived at the scheduled time and was polite and efficient. Wish I had known about this company before. Tried looking for a way of dealing with an old hard drive, but that was just after lockdown, so not many offering this service. A double blessing
So not only was all our IT equipment taken away and we have the peace of mind that the hard drives will be wiped but I found an excellent refurbished laptop for my husband who had been struggling with a very slow one. Chris arrived within the time frame communicated on the day of collection and called ahead to let us know he was nearby which was incredibly helpful. Chris was accommodating, professional and courteous throughout the collection and coordinated the collection expertly. All of the items agreed upon were collected and a signed receipt was provided at the end of the service. We are extremely happy with the service provided by CPR from the initial communications and updates to the collection itself, and look forward to using CPR again in the future. An excellent organisation! From my enquiry to pickup all the staff were professional and kept us updated. Chris the pick up driver was very professional and friendly. He was on time and dealt with the removal of all our equipment, (over 120 items) speedily and with no fuss. Positive Experience
I was looking to recycle three disused home computers. I saw on the CPR website that I could drop these in without appointment. Sure enough, on arrival at around 10:30am CPR staff gave me a prompt welcome, quickly dealt with paperwork, and helped me to unload the items. Two minor snags: (1) when I first arrived at the site I wasn't sure that CPR was still there --- it would help to have prominent signs on the way in; (2) CPR were not able to take two CRT-based monitors --- ideally I would have been able to leave the whole computer-related kit, instead of needing to find another recycling site to finish the job. Overall, however, my experience of CPR was positive.

Outstanding Service!
CPR have been fantastic from first point of contact through to the collection day. The first email contact from Julie was proffessional and really helpful and she was able to answer all my questions quickly and efficiently. On the day of collection Chris called ahead giving me a 15 minute heads up. When he arrived the school was busy but Chris was patient and flexible and worked to the schools time restaints. Chris quickly loaded up all our IT euipment (23 computers, printer, monitors and boxes of cables) and was on his way. Chris was also able to talk me through the process they take to reuse and recycle the equipment and the charities that receive any money made. The fact that this service is free and all profits go to charity is amazing in this day and age with many other companies resortimng to charges for their services. The whole experience was painless and efficient and I would highly recommend CPR to anyone who has any IT equipment to recycle.

Hello, I am the IT manager at a local day and boarding school in Forest Row. I took over the post a few months ago from the previous manager. Last month I stated going through the user equipment that was in the server room getting the equipment ready for e-waisting. I had over 75 PCs, 30 monitors, printers, keyboard, mice, routers and 135+ hard drives. The previous manager told me that we have an account with CPR. As it had stopped raining this week, I scheduled a pickup at 10:30. They were out here by noon. The gentleman that was doing the pick-up was very pleasant and grabbed all the equipment. It's great to know that this company is providing this service and much of this equipment can be refurbished and not hit the landfills yet. What a Find! I have struggeled to find safe and secure ways of disposing of my data bearing tech over the years. CPR have solved my problems at a stroke. I am so pleased that I found this amazing company when searching for someone who could ensure that all our redundant machines would not go to landfill. Our school had a huge amount of old IT equipment which needed collecting. I found CFR as they were quite local and put through an enquiry. They came back to me immediately with a response and within 2 days the equipment had been collected and I now have certificates showing the data has been wiped and items either recycled or disposed of. Would thoroughly recommend this service.

A Really Great Service
I contacted them and spoke to a very helpful lady who explained the process. I arranged for the pick up and they were delivered to the site within days. I had updates all the way and details of our online portal were sent to me via email. The process was so easy and straightforward and I would definitely use them again and recommend others do too. My experience with CPR was excellent, they kept me informed of when they would be able to collect, they were happy for me to add bits and pieces to the collection between booking and collecting. Tim the very polite, friendly driver texted me to let me know when he would arrive, he quickly and efficiently loaded the 28 items we signed the paperwork and he was away in no time. Within 24 hours of the collection I received a link to the portal to track the certification and verification of data wiping. Super service, would highly recommend.

First had experience with CPR in 2016/7 and am so glad they are still as good as ever. We had 78 items collected yesterday - ranging from IT hardware to audio. Agreed window accommodated a school programme and the driver was exceptionally supportive. We had a full list of key stock items listed within 48 hours (actually quicker!) and most importantly data compliance certificates for laptops that are already earmarked for sale. As an added bonus - they donate profits after costs to charity. Not only do you not have to worry about stuff in landfill - or GDPR exposure - but profits go to helping others. Win win win. Easy access to CPR with plenty of room to park. Lovely lady on reception was efficient and very friendly. A kind gentleman came out to empty the car of years of collected computer components ( wires, keyboard, monitors etc) even accepted some that looked like they had come out of the Ark they were so old. All gratefully accepted and on my way home within about 10 mins. Perfect ! Definitely use again and will be telling friends and associates of this brilliant service. Overall a great setup and service. CPR were really efficient in confirming receipt of our request for collection of our old IT equipment, were really helpful in arranging their visit, turned up on time, and their assets portal is really easy to access and see quickly what has been collected, what has been wiped and what has been done with the equipment. In addition, our receptionist made a point of telling me how nice a chap it was that visited and how impressed she was. Couldn't fault them!

Individuals donated items
Great to find an organisation which can recycle items which would otherwise have to be thrown away. Also that any proceeds go to charity. However - when an private individual wants to donate and has to pay delivery charges it can discourage them from bothering. If CPR could collaborate with a charity shop and organise regular collections it would be easier to donate and probably many more items would be put to good use.

I originally contacted CPR Computer Recycling by email listing various electronic items I had for disposal. I received a prompt reply from them saying they would take all the items. I subsequently delivered these to their office in South Godstone. The items were all listed on receipt and and data removal cerificates in accordance with GDPR will be issued to me in connction with the computer hard drives. Retiring from advertising I had a clear out of unwanted macs, monitor, external DVD writer, Pro optical driver, a crate full of clients optical discs and memory chips. If you have a collection of old computers which you no longer require, I recommend that you contact CPR Computer Recycling. They can arrange to collect at a time to suit you, they accept a wide range of IT kit and then give you access to their logs so you can track what becomes of it. Good to know that everything can be repurposed or recycled, and pleasing that profits go to charity too.

Highly recommended. Office equipment collected at day/time agreed, and I have the security of knowing it has been wiped of data before recycling. I can download certificates of data destruction. As an added bomus I can check back from time to time and see how much the equipment has raised. Excellent helpful company.

Excellent Service
This is an excellent, reliable service. I didn't know what to do with defunct electronic items which contain valuable parts which shouldn't just be dumped. I found CPR Computer Recycling on line and contacted them. They returned my email within a day, organised to collect my items within a couple of days, and came to collect at the appointed time.
